- Piazza Duomo: Have breakfast at Prestipino with a view of the Cathedral
- Badia di Sant'Agata: it's located behind Piazza Duomo, and from the top of the Dome of the Church you can admire all of Catania
- Terme Achilliane: underneath the St Agatha cathedral there are some stunning roman baths you can visit.
- Underground Catania: did you know there is a city underneath the city? In Piazza Stesicoro you can admire a piece of the massive Black Colosseum (the second largest after its Roman twin), and near Piazza Duomo you can admire the Greek-Roman Amphitheatre.
- Catania Fish Market: the famous centuries old market where you can breathe the Arab domination and the Sicilian folklore, ideal for some good street food
