'U Saracinu' by Sicily in Home is a newly renovated house that lets you experience Catania as if you were part of its most authentic people.


With an independent entrance on the ground floor, this house has everything you desire to feel at home.

The bedroom is quiet, and the bathroom is comfortable with a large shower.


The living room kitchen allows you to relax on a comfortable sofa while watching TV or reading a book. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your meals. From here, you will access the bedroom with a double bed and memory foam mattress, a small sofa for a small child, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.


The bathroom has a large shower and a washer/dryer.

  • How do I get there?

    To Travel from the Airport you can get the Alibus (€4 per person) that takes you to Piazza Borsellino. The house is 7 mins walking from there. 

    Alternatively, you can get a taxi at around €25 (Tel. +39 095 8833).

    If you arrive by train you can get the bus to Piazza Borsellino.

    If you arrive by ship or boat, you can get the bus towards Piazza Borsellino or a taxi. (Tel. +39 095 8833)

  • Can I do an early check-in?

    We try to accommodate our guests' requests, however in most cases we need to wait until the previous guests check-out, and prepare the house for you! 


    We'll let you know if the house is ready prior to check-in time. In the meantime, you can leave your luggage in a low-cost deposit in Via Mancini very close to the house and enjoy an amazing coffee in Piazza Duomo!
